Gray (NaFl-Sodium Fluoride) Tube

Sodium fluoride is the antiglycolytic agent that will produce plasma samples most
commonly used for glucose testing. Tube inversions ensure proper mixing of additive
and blood. For optimum specimen quality, gently invert tube 5 times after collection
to mix anticoagulant with blood. Check test listing for processing instructions.

Glucose screening with glucola (GTTs), fasting glucose.
